Trinity College Bioscience Pearse Street, Dublin 2

Overview

Trinity College Dublin developed this site to consolidate its pre-clinical bioscience research activities across five schools Chemistry, Engineering, Biochemistry & Immunology, Medicine and Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences. The aim was to maximise the interdisciplinary collaboration required to drive leading edge 21st century biomedical research.

The development houses all pre-clinical medical education and training activities. In a departure for an academic institution, researchers work here alongside industry in dedicated industry-academic collaborative and commercial laboratory space.

Designer Group carried out the electrical installation work on this 32,500 sq.m bioscience facility for Trinity College Dublin. The work was completed with the attention to detail and quality that state of the art clinical facilities demand. The project was constructed on a restricted site in the centre of Dublin.
