48 Leicester Square, London W1 is a mixed use building from 1920's overlooking Leicester Square. The interior and upper parts will be extensively redeveloped by adding a new core, new floor plates, a new upper storey of accommodation and a new roof.
Designer Group is responsible for the mechanical, electrical and plumbing fit out of two basements, office fit out of levels 2 to 8 and the roof level.
Designer Group has been awarded the mechanical, electrical and plumbing services package for the shell and core in the Tower, and the fit out of the four star hotel section at One Blackfriars. The building has 54 floors and forms part of a 74,925.sq.m mixed use development.
Data City Exchange (DCE), offer data centre services to clients implementing decentralised data storage topologies. The centres are developed to facilitate geographically diverse cloud environments and demo suites for “on-demand clouds” across Europe to SMEs. The DCE client base includes both corporate and public sector customers.
Designer Group has been contracted to carry out the design, supply and installation of all the works associated with the Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health system packages. Due to the nature of the works Designer Group will have to strategically engineer all the necessary diversions while maintaining the occupied floors and keeping the integrity of the buildings existing features.
