The Co-operative Group is the UK’s largest mutual business, owned not by private shareholders but by over six million consumers. Designer Group carried out the full mechanical and electrical design and build installation to the new 33-acre distribution centre in Bristol, United Kingdom. The site provides a mix of office, warehousing and distribution accommodation for The Co-operative and accommodates a vehicle maintenance unit, energy centre and parking for 270 commercial lorries.
Located on the northern tip of Greenwich Peninsula, Project Mint is the 360 degree designer outlet centre within the O2 Arena, occupying the remaining empty space inside the entertainment district. Designer Group was appointed by ISG to complete the shell and core Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) services to facilitate 81 new high end retail units.
Designer Group worked on both phases of the PET Centre at St Thomas Hospital project. Aimed to revolutionise PET Imaging facilities, Designer Group were appointed to install the full Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP) works to the new PET Centre Facility including Medical Gases and a new nuclear grade ductwork installation. Phase Two involves the construction works associated with the installation of a second cyclotron acceleration plant, hot cells and associated equipment capable of producing a range of imaging tracers to enable enhanced diagnostic care and improved research capability.
One Blackfriars Road was previously the Sainsbury’s Group Headquarters. The new development comprised of commercial space on the bottom floor, a hotel on the 3 lower levels, 274 homes on the upper floors and a viewing platform on the 32nd Floor. Designer Group carried out the mechanical, electrical and plumbing services package for the shell and core in the Tower, and the fit out of the four star hotel section.
